Car Control

Most experienced drivers control their cars well enough to avoid accidents most of the time.

Accidents generally happen when the drivers become distracted, inattentive or just are plain stupid.

If you are an average driver and are driving within your own limits it is unlikely that you will exceed the limits of your vehicle.

Fact ...

You would probably be amazed (and frightened) if you were shown exactly what your vehicle could do when driven 'on the limit' by an expert.

Public roads are not useful places to test these limits.

If you are looking for tips that will help you control your car on the absolute limit, visit Don Palmer, you will have to save up your pennies first - but it will be the experience of a lifetime!

If you love driving, you will enjoy these pages, if you are thinking of helping someone else to learn, they are essential reading, especially if you have been driving for many years.

If you are unsure about your ability to control the car in any given situation you may benefit from a driver re-training session designed to show the capabilities of your vehicle and appropriate on-road styles and techniques.

You might not agree with everything in this area, and if that's the case, we'd love to hear your thoughts, but remember, the more you know, the more choices you have.
